When we created BOB, we wanted to make the highest level of outbound shipping service available to more people in the Philippines. We combined great service with friendly pricing. The model has worked for years. We are still the easiest way to get stuff out of the Philippines.
People often ask us what the minimum shipment size is. There never has been a minimum size. A 1 kg pouch gets the same great service as a 30 kg box. However business costs and recent changes in transportation offerings from our partners have brought our attention to shipments under 5 kg.
In order to stay profitable and keep service levels high, we now ask customers to send pickups under 5 kg to the BOB House using the courier of their choice.
"Can you recommend a courier?"
Most of our pickups are done with Grab Express. New sign ups get P50 off using referral code GRABBOBHOUSE.
We also like beeXpress, from Honestbee. New signups get a discount on your first purchase with Honestbee.
"Who will shoulder the pickup costs?"
BOB has customers throughout Metro Manila. It is a large area, and the BOB House is in the middle. The cost of doing pickups varies. To keep our prices low, we do not include the cost of pickup when quoting. Instead, we let you choose and pay your own pickup courier.
Kindly settle the cost of pickup with the courier ("Bill to Sender"). Do not choose "Bill to Recipient". All "Bill to Recipient" or COD courier deliveries will be added to your shipping invoice along with an administrative service charge.
"I run an online business selling small items. How can I ship without impacting my costs?"
If you do lots of small shipments, consider consolidating them to a single day for pickup. BOB will still arrange pickup on multiple shipments totaling 5 kg or more.
"Can I just send my driver to your office?"
Yes, you can send any courier you'd like. To maintain warehouse security, no courier will be allowed entry to the BOB House. We also do not accept payments at the warehouse nor do we keep cash there.
"What's the address?"
Our location for Honestbee, Grab Express, Lalamove, and other online apps is BOB House Pasay. The address will appear on your invoice as well.
